The consultant as a Clinical Research Screener is responsible for registering new and current volunteers and conducting a series of screening.
Screening procedures includes conducting medical phone screening reviewing health related documents, performing check on data accuracy, maintaining, source documentation, data and sample collection (blood sample, ECG, blood pressure), safety of trial subject.
Provide support to the Pfizer Clinical Research Unit Brussels activities. Contribute to the execution of strategy of the PCRU oranization in term of volunteers recruitment.
At a senior level :
Is a key resource within area of expertise (e.g. for training of new colleagues, implementation of new techniques).
Scientific/ Clinical/ Research Knowledge : excellent knowledge of medical conditions ;
IT knowledge : good working knowledge of MS office tools used in role (ex : Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and be open to new systems.
Language skills : good written and verbal skills in French, English and Duch are essential.
Nursing and emergency interventions are appropriate, immediate, and demonstrate excellent assessment skills and standard of care.
Able to work effectively in multifunctional, indepartmental management teams.
Must be proactive, showing initiative and positive team spirit.
Oversee junior colleagues in the PCRU as appropriate.
Ability to take over and manage specific projects.
